See detailsFrom idea to formed part
Before producing a part, we analyze its use, environment and constraints. This first step defines the right approach: shape, material, thickness, finish, assembly and expected resistance level.
Our analysis
- Functional need and usage constraints
- Choice of suitable plastic material
- Study of the shape and sensitive areas
- Technical and aesthetic feasibility
- Quantities, deadlines and expected finish level

A successful part starts with a clearly defined intent.

Prototyping secures the shape before series production.
Validate before production
Plastic thermoforming requires precise preparation. Depending on the project, we can include a study, modeling, tooling design or prototype phase to validate the shape, use and expected quality before production.
Our work includes
- Study of the part and its environment
- 3D modeling and shape adaptation
- Design or adjustment of the mould
- Validation of cuts and drillings
- Preparation of assembly points
Thermoform, machine, assemble
Once the solution is validated, the plastic material is heated, formed on a mould, cooled and then reworked as needed. Trimming, machining, drilling, assembly or finishing operations produce a clean, precise part ready for use.
Key steps
- Controlled heating of the plastic material
- Forming on a mould or tooling
- Cooling and stabilization of the part
- Trimming, machining or drilling
- Assembly, inserts or specific finishes
- Quality control before delivery

Technique gives the idea its shape.

The same technique can create very different parts.
Plastic parts adapted to every use
Plastic thermoforming makes it possible to produce custom parts — technical, aesthetic or functional — in small series or larger quantities. ORMA supports every project according to its use, sector of activity and expected finish level.
Example projects
Technical parts & protection
Covers, protective housings, technical covers, machine guards, functional elements or integration parts.
Facades & cladding
Plastic facades, aesthetic housings, curved claddings and visible elements integrated into furniture or architectural environments.
Trays & handling
Handling trays, transport supports, containers, stacking solutions and parts adapted to industrial or logistics flows.
Inserts & packaging
Custom inserts, simple blisters, hinged blisters, component supports, technical trays or specific packaging.
Parts for demanding environments
Solutions for medical, laboratory, industry, building, retail, aeronautics, sport or high-use spaces.
Clean, durable parts ready for use
Each part is checked according to its use, finish level and technical constraints. We pay particular attention to the regularity of shapes, the cleanliness of cuts and the quality of assemblies.
Our commitments
- Respect of defined dimensions and constraints
- Clean cuts and careful finishes
- Assemblies adapted to the project
- Visual and technical inspection of parts
- Production adapted to small and medium series

Quality is measured in the precision of detail.
